Maria Dinon DePaoli, 78 of Kennett Square, died Saturday Jan. 5, at the Christiana Hospital.She was the wife of the late Raymond DePaoli, who died in 1975 and with whom she shared 24 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Costante and Fannie Maraldo Dinon.

She was a graduate of Kennett High School and Goldey Beacom College.

Mrs. DePaoli worked at Hewlett Packard as a secretary for more than 30 years. After retirement, she was employed at the Kennett Area Senior Center as an office assistant and as a volunteer.

She is survived by three daughters, Sandi Leone and Richard Abbondi of West Grove, Lynne Basilio and her husband, Larry, of West Grove, and Maria Masha and her husband, Robert, of West Grove; one son, Stephen R. and his wife, Linda, of Kennett Square; C. Peter Dinon and his wife Eileen of Oxford; grandchildren, Anthony

Leone and his fiancee, Erin, Nicky Leone, Stephanie and Lauren DePaoli, Anna and Daniel Basilio (to whom she was known as Nonni); many nieces and nephews; her three special grandpets; and numerous special friends.

The family would like to thank the medical ICU unit at Christiana Hospital for their wonderful care and support.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m., Thursday Jan. 10, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 212 Meredith St., Kennett Square. Friends and family may visit with the family from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. the morning of the service at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home Inc., 250 W. State St. Kennett Square. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Kennett Area Senior Center, 427 S. Walnut St., Kennett Square, PA 19348.
